Ha Terri, you got me and I posted my five facts but I still need to pick 5 people to tag! I like your 5 facts!
First time I was offered poi it was in a coconut shell and I thought it was some kind of candle but wondered where the wick was. The lady serving it at the hotel luau was not very amused. I did try it and arg! it is like wallpaper paste (I hope others won't take offense after all I am not offended when they groan at my love of marmite, or winkles-boiled sea snails with malt vinegar)
It must have been interesting to have lived in Hawaii :)
Terri, I also love animals, put things off too much and love marbles and paperweights. I still have an old glass ball paperweight with a seahorse in it that I bought at Disneyworld back in the '70s. The glass has even yellowed in it a little.
Lynette, I bet that sea horse Disney glass ball is worth something now!
Jafabrit-- wallpaper paste or ug I dont know...marmite .... hmmmmI have never heard of this it doesnt sound to palatable though giggle ...
